Studio J Architects were asked to design a mixed use development in a prime location within central Ackworth. A 140m2 stand alone retail unit fronted the main road. To the rear of the site there is a row of 5 stone houses, each with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and family living spaces.
The buildings are constructed using high quality, locally sourced, natural stone to the external walls. Natural slate tiles and feature solar panels are on the roofs. Studio J took the project from initial feasibility studies, through planning and building regulations approval, before overseeing construction.
