With an impressive, stone built, 5 bedroom, detached home, the client was looking to stamp their personality on it and create a family home suited to their style of living.
The house needed refurbishing throughout, to replace dated electrics, plumbing and decoration. New bespoke timber doors were added, with high end finishes throughout and underfloor heating.
A new kitchen extension was added to the side, replacing an old and unused conservatory. This space was to become the heart of the home where the family would spend most of their time. A feature glazed rear wall with bi-fold doors opens onto the rear garden, with a second set of bi-folds opening off the family seating area. These, along with 2 large roof lights flood the room with natural light throughout the day. A feature contemporary fire finishes off the look.
