Corona Virus

How will this affect Studio J?

Obviously there is currently a lot of worry over the corona virus at the moment. We are regularly monitoring the situation and how it may impact the way we work.

We will follow advice from the Government & the UK’s Chief Medical Officer for how best to deal with the ever evolving situation.

Advice is changing daily so we expect to have to respond to any new advice as and when this happens.

There are no plans for Studio J to stop working. We will however be taking measures to help reduce the risk of spreading the virus. We are currently working individually from home, and abiding by social distances guidance. As such, for the time being, we regret that we will not be able to make any site visits for new projects. Where there is an emergency we will continue to make site visits for projects currently under construction. However where possible we will first look to use: phone, video calls and emails.

James Butterworth (Studio J Managing Director) is now in long term isolation. This is due to a pre-existing medical condition that puts James at a higher risk of suffering worse with the virus. James will still be available via email & phone calls during this period, with site visits being undertaken by other members of staff in his absence.

We hope that any disruption will be to a minimum. The health of our staff, clients and members of the public will always be our priority.
